what is FACE FAT REMOVAL ?

Face fat removal” refers to treatments aimed at reducing excess fat in the cheeks, jawline, or under the chin to create a slimmer, more contoured facial appearance. Surgical options include buccal fat removal, which takes out fat pads from the cheeks for a sharper look, and facial liposuction, which targets fat deposits in areas like the chin and jawline for precise contouring. These surgical methods typically require 1–2 weeks of recovery. Non-surgical options are less invasive and include fat-freezing (cryolipolysis), which gradually reduces fat cells, ultrasound or radiofrequency treatments that tighten skin while reducing fat, and injectables like Kybella, which dissolve fat under the chin. Results vary by method but can lead to more defined cheekbones, a sharper jawline, and an overall slimmer face with minimal downtime for non-surgical treatments.

Surgical Methods:

Buccal Fat Removal – Small incisions are made inside the mouth to remove fat pads from the cheeks. The area is closed with dissolvable stitches. Recovery usually takes 1–2 weeks. Facial Liposuction – Small incisions are made near the treatment area, and a thin cannula removes excess fat. The strip is divided into hundreds or thousands of follicular units under high magnification. These grafts are implanted into tiny incisions in the recipient area, ensuring natural-looking growth.

Non-Surgical Methods:

Fat Freezing (Cryolipolysis) – A device is applied to the targeted area to freeze and destroy fat cells gradually over several weeks. Ultrasound/Radiofrequency Treatments – Energy waves target fat cells and tighten skin, usually requiring multiple sessions. Kybella Injections – A series of injections dissolve fat under the chin over several sessions with mild swelling.
