Glimepiride is an oral anti-diabetic medicine used to control blood sugar levels in people with Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus. It belongs to the sulfonylurea class of drugs and helps the body produce more insulin from the pancreas.

Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus (Non–Insulin Dependent Diabetes)

Dosage (Typical Adult Dose):

  • Usually 1 mg once daily before breakfast.
